    Revise is a Mass Save Partner. We provide no cost home energy assessments, subsidized insulation and air sealing for residential homes in Massachusetts. We have been steadily growing over the past 3 years and are looking to bring in new employees in all of our departments, Home Energy Assessments, Insulation and HVAC. These positions are located in Haverhill, Mendon, and Raynham, MA. Our Home Energy Advisors and Canvass Team Members dispatch from their homes, while the Insulation Crew Chiefs and Technicians are dispatched from the office locations.

    We are looking for candidates who will be motivated, self-driven, and able to perform in a fast paced work environment.     Safety/Training Specialist

    Summary/Objective
    Revise is looking for a thorough and detail-oriented safety officer to monitor workplace activities of staff in the field to promote and ensure employee safety as well as compliance with applicable safety and training regulations. This individual needs to have common sense and a philosophy built around teaching and mentoring our workforce.

    Essential Functions

    • Develop an annual training plan that can be accomplished in 30 – 60 minute blocks throughout the year
    • Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems
    • Conducts employee training on applicable safety standards
    • Review safety training and recommend revisions, improvements, and updates
    • Conducts safety inspections and audits that do not interfere with the job but are productive teaching events
    • Inspect safety equipment; recommend replacements
    • Draft and implement internal safety standards and policies
    • Review accidents and incidents reported by employees and customers
    • Travel to different locations and jobsites as a mentor to make on the spot corrections
    • Complete required forms for company, OSHA and Workers Comp Insurance
    • Perform other related duties as assigned

    Requirements

    • Extensive knowledge of company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards
    • Working knowledge of safety practices in a residential construction environment required
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to conduct training (Formal and Informal)
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
    • Valid driver’s license required
    • This role is 50% on job sites and 50% in the office

    Competencies

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred

    HVAC Installation Technician (Raynham/Taunton)

    Summary
    Install heating systems including boilers, furnaces, heat pumps, mini split systems and hot water heaters in residential homes.

    Essential Functions

    • Lay out work and measure to locate position of pipe from drawings or other written specifications.
    • Cut various sizes of pipe to correct lengths with oxyacetylene torch or pipe cutting machines, snap cutters or saws. Thread pipe with power threading machines or hand dies. Assemble pipe with couplings and fasten pipe to hangers and make standard tests to determine whether finished pipes meet specifications.
    • Study work drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installation.
    • Locate and mark position of pipe and pipe connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings using hand and/or power tools.
    • Assemble and install valves, pipefittings, and pipes composed of metals such as iron, steel and brass.
    • Join pipe by use of threaded joints, flanges, fittings, solder, plastic solvent welds, and caulked joints.
    • Fill pipe system with water or air and read pressure gauges to determine whether system is leaking.
    • Test for refrigerant leaks by means of a halide leak detector, a liquid soap solution, or other approved methods.
    • Use oxyacetylene, propane torch for soldering and brazing pipe.
    • Performs other duties as directed by Supervisor.

    Journeyman Electrician

    Summary/Objective
    Perform a variety of electrical functions including maintenance, repair, installation and modification of equipment in residential homes for HVAC installs and home weatherization projects

    Essential Functions

    • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical wiring systems in residential homes
    • Working from building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings and maintenance and repair manuals, determine the routing of wiring and execute plan
    • Determine size, type and gauge of wiring, coupling, straps, conduits, etc. to install electrical circuits, equipment, and components
    • Utilize various conduit systems to include PVC, flexible, rigid and electrical metallic tubing
    • Inspect I.C. recessed lighting in accordance with Mass Save requirements for insulation
    • Review and assess knob and tub wiring for insulation installation in accordance with electrical codes and Mass Save program requirements
    • Performs other duties as directed by Supervisor

    Job Requirements

    Canvasser

    Canvasser needed for Multiple locations across Central/Eastern Massachusetts!
    Canvassers can expect a flexible schedule and great pay!

    Weatherization Crew Chief

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in the Mass Save Program or other energy efficiency programs is required.
    • Crew Chief Certification and Lead Safe Renovator Certification
    • Must pass pre-employment background screen and drug test
    • Must be able to work on ladders, roofs, confined spaces and heights up to 40’
    • Must be on-time daily, prepared, and ready to work
    • Valid driver’s license

    Compensation + Benefits

    • Earn $70,000-$100,000+ annually
    • Hourly + Job Rate/Commission
    • Health & Dental insurance within first 30 days
    • Paid sick time and accrued vacation
    • Overtime after 40 hours

    Main Duties

    • Manage a team of 1-3 employees on a job site each day. Complete combustion safety testing, blower door testing, as well as all required paperwork in the home.
    • Arrive at our office daily by 6:30am to clean and load the truck for the day
    • Meet required monthly revenue targets and maintain acceptable return rate
    • Install insulation, foam board, and complete air sealing in attics, kneewalls, and crawlspaces
    • Remove siding, drill holes, and blow insulation into exterior walls, often working on ladders
    • Install ventilation on roofs
    • Work inside and outside in all conditions; rain, snow, hot, and cold
    • Communicate with home owners and conduct yourself responsibly in customer’s homes

    Weatherization Technician

    General Responsibilities

    • Work in 2-3 person teams to complete weatherization jobs daily, taking direction from crew chief
    • Install insulation, foam board, and complete air sealing in attics, knee walls, and crawlspaces
    • Remove siding, drill holes, and blow insulation into exterior walls, often times working on ladders
    • Install ventilation on roofs
    • Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor

    Job Requirements:

    Home Energy Advisor / Energy Specialist (must be BPI Certified)

    Job Responsibilities after completion of training:

    • Complete comprehensive and precise residential home energy assessments in accordance with the Mass Save program and Revise Inc. best practices.
    • Educate home owners in energy efficiency practices –both basic weatherization improvements as well as deeper energy saving measures
    • Promote the successful completion of energy efficiency improvements and install Instant Savings Measures such as lightbulbs, power strips, showerheads, aerators, and thermostats at the time of the assessment.
    • Conduct thorough energy assessments in residential homes including entering and assessing attics, basements, and crawlspaces.
    • Conduct combustion safety testing and infrared scanning to evaluate existing conditions and recommend energy efficiency improvements.
    • Complete detailed and accurate data collection and measurements.
    • Interact with homeowners and tenants, answering questions regarding energy efficiency and recommended next steps.
    • Promote and encourage adoption of energy saving measures recommended based on the home energy assessment, including weatherization, windows, solar, and HVAC improvements.

    HVAC Service Technician

    Summary/Objective

    Perform scheduled cleanings and make minor repairs to heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), boiler/hydronics, ventilation, air conditioning (AC) systems and related equipment.

    Essential Functions

    • Diagnose equipment malfunctions by auditory means and testing devices such as meters and probes.
    • Listen and look for any abnormalities with the system such as piston slap, oil leakage, and unusual or excessive vibration.
    • Trace and troubleshoot control system wiring, connections and ensure that all covers and panels are properly installed.
    • Test for refrigerant leaks by means of a halide leak detector, a liquid soap solution, or other approved methods.
    • Use oxyacetylene, propane torch for soldering and brazing pipe.
    • Estimate and plan the replacement and new installation of AC units and determine what materials are needed.
    • Maintain, repair, and install hot water boilers, heat pumps of various tonnages, low-pressure steam boilers, forced air, and other related equipment.
    • Performs other duties as directed by Supervisor.

    • Working closely and harmoniously with other employees.
    • Performing and documenting complete operational checks for all equipment.
