Town of Bedford to Receive a Cleanup Celebration from Revise, The Way You Save.
In celebration of Earth Day, Revise, Inc. announced that they will host their first-ever community cleanup day, in Bedford, Massachusetts, on Sunday, May 2, 2021, from noon to 4:00 p.m. COVID-safety practices will be followed. They invite Bedford residents to join with the company’s employees as they work to directly impact a cleaner and greener community. Revise’s Earth Day Celebration will cover several spots in Bedford from noon to 4:00 p.m., and volunteers are welcome to an appreciation ceremony at 131 Great Road (Revise’s satellite office) for refreshments, gift cards to Bedford Farms and prizes, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The community of Bedford is encouraged to go to callrevise.com/bedfordcleanup to sign up to join the celebration.
“As a company that works to help homeowners reduce their energy, we thought it made sense to help our community celebrate Earth Day,” said Dan Carroll, Revise’s COO.
Interested Bedford residents can sign up to volunteer at callrevise.com/bedfordcleanup and learn more about the day’s events, where they will also have the opportunity to sign up for a virtual home energy assessment.
As a Mass Save Home Performance Contractor, Revise’s sole focus is to make homes more energy efficient. Having a community cleanup day is a mere extension of the commitment Revise is making to reduce Bedford’s carbon footprint. To understand Revise, you first have to define Mass Save, an initiative that works with the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources to provide a range of services, incentives, training and information promoting energy efficiency. “Revise is one of many Mass Save partners,” said Sales and Marketing Director Calvin Day, “providing no-cost home-energy assessments, subsidized insulation and air sealing, and heating and ventilation improvements eligible for interest-free loans.” Mass Save is sponsored by natural gas and electric utilities and energy-efficiency service providers. The funding is supported by a charge on customers’ energy bills.
